Spreading the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ one person at a time

First Friday - 2019
February 1, 2019
Exposition of the
Most Blessed Sacrament
5:00 pm at St. Barbara
6:00 pm Benediction and Holy Mass
We give thanks at this Mass for all the patrons and benefactors of our parishes, those whom we know and those who wish to remain anonymous, that God will bless them with every blessing they are in need of, now and always, in thanksgiving for their generosity to our churches and for their support of our efforts to spread the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, one person at a time, right here in East Dearborn and Detroit.

This Weekend we Celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple
Candlemas! The last of the Feasts of Light. Alas, the 40 days of Christmas come to an end.

In honor of Candlemas Sunday, candles will be available at Mass or you are welcome to bring your own candles to be blessed by Father at Mass.
Use your blessed candles not only when someone is sick but in times of all possible danger or harm. The light of the candle burning represents Christ ever present as the one true light that dispels all darkness.

Feast of St. Blaise
This weekend we will offer the annual Blessing of Throats in honor of the Feast of St. Blaise, Bishop and Martyr.
